Dave Kilbride brings a broad knowledge of the rural industry and a unique perspective to his role in selling lifestyle and rural property in the Waipa, South Waikato and King Country areas.
Dave’s interest in real estate dates back to his tertiary studies in valuation and property management in the ‘90s and he has since gone on to buy and sell his own residential, commercial and rural properties.
A local dairy farmer of 20 years, Dave is cognisant of the challenges and opportunities of the industry regionally and nationwide.
For over a decade, Dave worked in the rural banking sector where he learned to both understand the unique needs of his clients and identify the distinct strengths of their properties. Helping clients achieve their goals is his primary motivator, a genuine person with a great sense of humour, Dave has consequently built long term relationships with a wide range of people throughout the sector.
Dave was also a farm consultant for 10 years during which he set up several farm syndicates. This involved researching the property market, purchasing properties, finding investors and securing management. This work involved many aspects of problem solving for clients: facilitating relationships between business owners and staff; helping with succession planning and preparing finance proposals.
As an agent, Dave is every inch a professional - generous with his time and knowledge and not afraid to be direct. Further, Dave enjoys the backing of a recognised Bayleys team who he relies on when an international approach is required.
Outside of work, Dave finds time to give back to the community – he is past chair of the Goodwood Primary School Board of Trustees; current chair of the St John’s College Hamilton Foundation; and judge for the Ballance Farm Environment Awards of which Bayleys is a sponsor.
Dave enjoys a multitude of sports and is always on the lookout for a fresh challenge - from having run several marathons, to skydiving and scuba diving. He has a love of the outdoors which has seen he and his family create many memorable experiences tramping and camping around the globe.
Bayleys continues to have a high profile across the community through involvement in local events, activities and sporting groups. From significant cash sponsorship to mentoring groups on event management, marketing and public speaking; the Bayleys name is synonymous with being involved in what is happening and what is on in our community.
Our auctioneers willingly give their time to call charity auctions and fundraising events which have resulted in many thousands of dollars being raised.
Bayleys Waikato are proud sponsors of Waikato Rugby, Waikato Reigonal Theatre, Central Property People Awards, and Waikato Hockey Association.
