Mark has extensive leadership and sales management experience having successfully led NZ’s leading rural sales team at Bayleys for the past 19 years and as General Manager.

Mark’s portfolio includes top performing residential, lifestyle and commercial teams and offices across the greater Waikato plus the Hauraki Plains and the King Country. Mark is passionate about the development of the people in these teams and this is validated by the numerous both industry and Bayleys awards for team members including top sales people, rookie and salesperson of the year, marketing awards and auction trophies within Bayleys and also the repeated REINZ top office and top overall sales awards.

With a strong record of client negotiation and working with sales teams, Mark has established a well-earned reputation of ensuring maximum value on every property sale. Working with professional organisations including major lending institutions, valuers, lawyers, accountants and rural farm advisors is a key priority for Mark and adds another dimension to Bayleys marketing efforts.

Mark is actively involved with Bayleys Waikato rural team. This rural team consistently sell around $400 million worth of rural properties in their region on an annual basis and they and their national team has a dominant market share of over 40% in New Zealand and repeat winner of several REINZ (Real Estate Institute of New Zealand) which are national awards across all real estate companies.

Mark and his colleagues are well represented in their local territories with a high level of community involvement including several sponsorships of cultural functions, sports teams and community events.

Mark lives on a rural property near Cambridge with his wife Emily and their three teenage sons Lachy, Murdoch and Hunter.
