Bayleys strengthens Whangārei market position

The New Zealand economy is regaining momentum after years of turbulence, whilst the real estate market is showing signs of consolidation and renewed confidence. In a move that reflects this positive shift, Bayleys Whangārei is proud to announce a strategic merger with EVES Whangārei.

Described by Bayleys in the North Director, Tony Grindle as “The ideal time to demonstrate leadership.” The merger marks a significant step toward strengthening the Bayleys market leading position, expanding its reach and enhancing the level of service delivered to clients across Northland.

The merger brings together over 100 real estate professionals across all market sectors, from residential, lifestyle and commercial sales to residential and commercial property management, creating one of the most comprehensive property service offerings in the region.

“This is about future-proofing our business while honouring the values of service, people, and community” said Grindle. “By joining forces with EVES Whangārei, we’re creating a stronger and more dynamic real estate operation in Whangārei. One that’s locally rooted, nationally connected, and globally aligned.”

Bayleys in the North Co-founder and Director Kirsty Macky emphasised the value for EVES clients. “Clients will benefit from being part of a growing New Zealand owned business that offers unparalleled access to buyers and industry-leading marketing tools across New Zealand. Bayleys national strength and international reach means we can uncover opportunities others simply can’t. We are excited to be expanding our team in Whangarei, which is poised for significant market growth in coming years.”

EVES Whangārei was established in 2018 as the first franchise outside the award-winning EVES head office in Tauranga, part of a network with over 50 years of proven success across the Bay of Plenty. The integration with Bayleys comes as Bayleys continues to expand its footprint not only throughout Northland and New Zealand, but also globally thanks to strategic partnerships with McGrath in Australia and global consultancy Knight Frank.

Tony Grindle added, “It’s a privilege to welcome the EVES team into the Bayleys family. They bring with them not just experience, but a service ethos that perfectly aligns with our values. Together, we offer more for our clients, our staff and the communities we proudly serve.”
